How do I enable Flash Player for Chrome?

The Flash Player plugin is required for some Education Perfect pages to work.  There are a few extra steps to enable Flash in the Chrome web browser.

Temporarily enabling Flash

When Flash is correctly enabled, you will be able to access all the features that Education Perfect has available. Normally, you will be able to see the Track Student Progress option under the Other Areas heading.

When Flash is disabled, the Track Student Progress function will be replaced with the Student Usage Report. If you are unable to find a specific feature on Education Perfect, it is likely because Flash needs to be enabled.

To enable the Flash Player plugin using the latest version of Chrome, click the lock icon next to the website address, open the options list beside Flash, and choose Allow.

Once you have updated the settings, refresh the Control Panel or click Reload.

Permanently Enabling Flash

If you're using Google Chrome version 69 or later,  as a part of Adobe's plan to phase Flash out by 2020, you'll need to allow Education Perfect access to Flash every time you restart Chrome.

As a short-term workaround, you can permanently enable the Flash plugin for this version of Chrome by going to the following page: chrome://flags/#enable-ephemeral-flash-permission in Chrome.

From here, click on the drop-down menu next to Enable Ephemeral Flash Permissions and select Disabled.

Please note that this will only work if you're already on Chrome 69. If you would like check what version on Chrome you are on, you can visit: chrome://settings/help
